Directions:
-
Choose Your Herbs: Select the herbs you want to use. You can use fresh or dried herbs.
-
Measure the Herbs: Use about 1 teaspoon of dried herbs or 1 tablespoon of fresh herbs per cup of water.
-
Boil Water: Bring water to a boil. The amount of water will depend on how many cups of tea you want to make.
-
Add Herbs to Teapot or Cup: Place the herbs in a teapot or directly in your cup. If you have a tea infuser or strainer, you can use that to hold the herbs.
-
Pour Boiling Water: Pour the boiling water over the herbs. If you're using a teapot, cover it with a lid.
-
Steep: Let the herbs steep in the hot water for about 5-10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor will be.
-
Strain: If you didn't use an infuser, strain the herbs out of the tea using a fine mesh strainer.
-
Enjoy: Your herbal tea is ready to drink! You can add honey, lemon, or other flavorings if desired.
